The Awesomedventures is a blog project I've been planning for a while for sharing my stories, experiences and personal opinions about a game that I really enjoy. While I've been planning on doing something like that on a previous game I've already played and enjoyed a lot (League of Legends), Awesomenauts's light-hearted nature and 'Super Smash Bros.'-like nature of the game quickly caught my attention, and having a fresh and new(bie) perspective and having to learn the ins and outs of a game from the scratch were great motivators to finally start this blog.
About the author
I'm Lucas (steam name Kbludoh), a 21 years old brazilian Information Systems Bachelor student who lives in Jundiai, a relatively small city 50km from São Paulo. I've always been in love with videogames, having my first SNES whom I shared with my older brother since the age of 4. While growing up, I played a fairly deal of PC and console games, such as Crash Bandicoot series, Crash Team Racing, Rollercoaster, The Sims, Need For Speed and Tekken. While doing an internship during a technician course, I finally could afford a stable internet connection and started playing my most played game: World of Warcraft. After playing a couple of expansion cycles, an online friend presented me League of Legends, that quickly hooked me. After a couple of years trying to learn the ins and outs of a competitive game, I managed to snag a high silver/low gold level of play. Looking to expand a bit my horizons, I started looking for some other games that could help me understand and play better, and stumbled upon Awesomenauts in Steam's Summer Sale. Having a familiar set of rules to League of legends and a light-hearted atmosphere, it quickly hooked me and is my new gaming passion.
